Board review that teaches reasoning.
Board Pearls is a board review platform for physicians who are already practicing or in training, built from the primary guidelines and trials the exam actually pulls from. Board Pearls is operated by Daloreum.
Who it is for
The material is written for a clinical audience, not a patient resource and not a first pass through the material. It is aimed at physicians preparing for the ABIM Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine boards, and at clinicians using it for continuing education. Gastroenterology is live today, with 36 chapters, 1,657+ vignette MCQs, and 116 audio chapters. Internal Medicine and additional subspecialties are in authoring.
How the content is made
Every chapter is authored from primary sources: society guidelines from the ACG, AGA, AASLD, and ASGE, plus pivotal randomized trials, major cohort studies, and regulatory labels. Chapters are organized by clinical decision workflow rather than by textbook order, and each one closes with its primary sources in a References section.
Questions are clinical vignettes with real numbers and a reasoning decision, not trivia. Wrong answers are written as genuine reasoning errors and explained. For the full account of how we source, review, update, and correct the material, see the editorial and evidence policy.
